      <title>Birth Emergency Skills Training (BEST) Class Registration (Monday, November 09, 2026)</title>
      <description>&lt;p&gt;&lt;font face="Georgia"&gt;To start off our pre- conference agenda the longest-running emergency skills course is coming to Tacoma. Birth Emergency Skills Training helps participants build on their core competencies by applying evidence based knowledge to clinical practice. Through the online course followed by an instructor lead hands-on workshop, participants will be able to brush up on emergency birth skills for 3 CEU credits.&lt;/font&gt;&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;&lt;font face="Georgia"&gt;Important Notes: Please register for the class by August 9. We need a minimum of 14 participants to host this class.&amp;nbsp; The fee paid when registering today pays for the in-person BEST Training ($600), food, and room fees ($100). There will be a separate email to registered participants about a $45 online class fee that must be completed before the in-person training and is NOT included in the registration amount today. More information will be sent out once the class is confirmed.&lt;span&gt;&lt;font color="#222222" style=""&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/font&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/font&gt;&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;&lt;font face="Georgia"&gt;&lt;span&gt;&lt;font color="#222222" style=""&gt;JUA offers a premium discount once every two years for completion of the BEST Emergency Skills Training class. The CE earned applies toward your policy renewal requirements. The cost of the class is applied as a discount to your next year’s premium when you renew your policy.&lt;br&gt;

      <title>2026 MAWS Conference (Tuesday, November 10, 2026)</title>
      <description>&lt;p&gt;MAWS is proud to present our 2026 conference "Autonomy and Community."&lt;br&gt;
This year we have 5 stellar presenters that will be focusing on topics of autonomy and how to further evidence-based practices and informed consent with midwifery consumers. This conference is a full day of information, learning, and coming together as a midwifery community.&amp;nbsp;&lt;br&gt;

Light food will be provided, along with a cocktail hour after the event!&lt;/p&gt;
